The Perth Basketball Association is excited to announce a new Office Structure, effective from Monday 19 November.
Recently we advertised for a part-time Director of Coaching & Development which after receiving a number of strong applications, has been filled by our new Women’s SBL Head Coach Craig Allen.
Craig joins us from an extensive WABL coaching career at Willetton, where he has held a similar development role in the past. As the current Under 20 Women’s State Team Head Coach, Craig also strengthens the PBA’s links to the BWA High-Performance pathway and will be a huge asset for our coaching network.
The Director of Coaching & Development will oversee our coaching development at WABL & Domestic levels, whilst taking an active approach to managing our whole player development pathway, in conjunction with key personnel within the club.
In addition to the appointment of Craig, the current Administration role has been restructured and expanded to incorporate Administration & Participation.
Michelle Fletcher has accepted this new role and in addition to administering our Domestic & WABL programs, will oversee the participation programs including Aussie Hoops, Spiderlings and Holiday Programs. This role has a strong focus on growing the base of the Association and expanding the Associations reach in to the community.
Both positions will report directly to the General Manager and will be linked back to achieving key strategic outcomes as set by the PBA Board.
