It is with deep sadness and regret that the Perth Basketball Association recognizes the passing of Allan Carr. Allan was a foundation member of the Perth Basketball Club in 1964.
Allan (number 9 in the shown photo) played for the club at Perry Lakes Basketball Stadium in the early years of the club during the period 1964 to 1970. During those years Allan was a valued and respected member of several teams. Allan maintained an interest in the progress of the PBA long after he ended his playing days with Perth.
Allan later encouraged and supported his son Brodie who also played through the junior and senior grades for the Redbacks. Those members and Life Members in particular who knew and remember Allan are deeply saddened at his passing.

The funeral will take place at Bowra & O’Dea’s Chapel, Cnr Grt Eastern Hwy and Robinson Rd, Bellevue commencing at 2.30 PM on Monday 17 June.
