Reids Remotes in East Victoria Park is a small business operated by husband and wife team Joe and Erica Mahon. They offer the largest range of replacement remote controls for garage door, roller doors, house alarms and electric gates in WA and also sell a huge range of replacement cases for complete remote controls, flip keys and smart keys for most cars on the road. All these items can be purchased both online and instore.
They can also cut and code the new key to your car. Reids Remotes are fully licensed and insured and offer keys for vehicles right up to 2020 models in some brands. In many cases, Reids offer both a genuine or aftermarket option for car keys and keep a huge number of keys in stock for the most popular models in brands such as Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Holden, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Subaru, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar, Range Rover, Mini, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan, Isuzu, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault and many more.
What’s the connection between Reids Remotes and the Perth Redbacks? Two of Joe and Erica’s daughters have played domestic with Perth Redbacks and their eldest daughter Ciara also played WABL with our club. A few years ago, Joe and Ciara started to attend Perth Redbacks SBL games and quickly became fans. In the last few seasons, they have attended almost all of the home and away SBL games.
Why did Joe and Erica decide to support the Perth Redbacks with sponsorship? Well, Reids Remotes is the evolution of another family business (Reids Bootmakers) which was started in Vic Park in 1980 by Erica’s parents offering shoe repair and key cutting. Over the last 40 years, the business has been a big part of the local community and Joe and Erica wished to continue this participation in the community by sponsoring our club. They were impressed by the many different initiatives run by the club to include kids of all ages and abilities in the sport and the many holiday camps offered and felt partnering with us was a good fit for their business. They hope that by sponsoring the club and assisting on the sponsorship team they can encourage more local businesses to support the Redbacks as the club grows and offers more opportunities for the community.
How can the Perth Redbacks family show their support for Reids Remotes? By thinking of them first when requiring the services and products they provide. If club members mention they’re Redbacks when making a purchase at Reids Remotes, they will try to offer a discount where possible and practical. Club members can also support Reids Remotes by liking them on Facebook and Instagram and sharing their pages with friends and family who might need their services.
Thank you Joe and Erica! We are so lucky to have you as part of our club.
