We are thrilled to have Rose and Claude Lenzo’s Texture WA back on board with the Perth Redbacks as a Corporate Partner in 2020.
Rose and Claude’s son Riley started playing basketball at Perth Redbacks in 2014. At the time they didn’t really know much about WABL or SBL but quickly grew to love the club and what it stood for. They could see that there were many great people involved in the club and those people had a wonderful vision for where they wanted to see the club in future years. But of course, like all clubs, Perth Redbacks needed funds to make those things happen. That’s when Texture WA decided to form a corporate partnership with the Perth Redbacks. They wanted to be part of making positive growth in the club and hopefully help Perth Redbacks fulfil their dream of having its own stadium.
Who is Texture WA? In short, they are a small family business specialising in Acrylic Render coating and Polished Plastering.
In 1999, Claude (who had been working on the tools as a plasterer since he was 12) was diagnosed with kidney failure and was not able to do that work anymore. Acrylic Render was a fairly new and in-demand finish amongst the building trade at the time. In response to this demand, Lenzo Plasterers decided to start Acrylic Rendering and so Texture WA was founded.
Today Texture WA works with over 100 builders around Perth and regional WA including Country Builders, Dale Alcock and Zorzi Builders. Acrylic Render is very popular as it’s low maintenance and can be any colour from any paint range. And, although Acrylic Render started as an exterior finish, it is now also being used internally. Texture WA makes sure all material is ordered at once to ensure the colour tinting is the same for the whole job. Jess, their on-site supervisor, ensures the job is of great quality and the standard of workmanship always meets Claude’s high standards.
Texture WA is thrilled to be again supporting Perth Redbacks in season 2020 and is excited to see what we can achieve as a club this year.
