Weekly WABL Wrap – Round 5 – 24 May 2026

12-1 Girls – Olivia Weddikara (sponsored by Visa4You Migration Agency)

Lost against East Perth 25-50

Coach comments

  • We had an unfortunate loss this week but it was definitely the best game they have played as a team.
  • Every player was unselfish when bringing the ball up the court, with communication and teamwork continuing to improve throughout the game.
  • The girls showed much greater confidence driving to the basket this week and made better shot selections without forcing attempts.
  • Niyala was strong today, using her height to her advantage to secure plenty of rebounds and generate valuable offensive second-chance opportunities.
  • Immy was one of our most reliable guards this week, consistently cutting through the key and creating multiple scoring opportunities for the team.
  • Mini set the tone today with her voice and leadership, making it her mission to be the loudest on the court and she delivered. Once she lifted her communication, Cairee followed her lead, and together they became the loudest in the stadium!

12-2 Girls – Dave Power (sponsored by RocketDNA)

Won against Warwick 50-16

Coach comments

  • Warwick played hard, they ran hard, they defended hard and the first half was an arm wrestle, but we eventually edged into half time up 20-12.
  • The 3rd quarter was our best quarter of basketball all year. The defensive effort was outstanding and the offensive play was excellent team basketball.
  • The girls were able to execute three different ATOs off the board, despite us never having trained them, and scored from each one.
  • We won the 3rd quarter 21-0 and broke the game open.
  • Iris Gething’s energy was contagious as she competed for every rebound and every loose ball, getting steals and deflections.
  • Emily Sundstrom is starting to find her rhythm and made some timely baskets and was able to get some bust outs up the floor.
  • Claire McKern is really starting to embrace her role playing through the trail and made some big plays. Rebounding, bust outs, some strong passing and attacking the basket. Claire had a big impact on team leadership with her composure.

12-3 Girls – Paul Philpott (sponsored byInternational Commissioning Solutions Group Pty Ltd)

Lost against Hawks 52-20

Coach comments

  • We continue to go week to week and from strength to strength. We remember that yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose!
  • Whilst the Hawks remained dominant on the board, we continued to make that a challenge for them keeping the scores narrow at each break.
  • Today saw many hard-fought balls, numerous advantageous turnovers and most of all team coherence. Well done you magical girls.
  • Our Ruby Rath came alive again today dropping 6 points into the jar. Ruby was forever fierce in her hunger for the ball and was clearly a bother for Hawks players.
  • Ada Gliddon with perfect cross overs was sharper than a referee’s whistle, making her hard to stop resulting in a crisp score of 4 points.
  • With lots of guidance from her Coaches, Tliyah Gordon created numerous bust outs from the back court to create many team scoring opportunities, and earned one for herself.
  • Great work today from all. A special mention to Coach Sally who did all the bench work today preparing each girl individually with clear direction for their on court time.

12-4 Girls – Indiana Ballantine (sponsored by Bruining Partners and John Hughes Ford)

Lost against Hills 35-4

Coach comments

  • Round 5 against the Hills Raiders was a challenging game.
  • The girls showed great strength and resilience, particularly on the defensive end.
  • Their determination to get in front of their opponents and communicate when finding players was excellent to see.
  • Their defensive intensity and effort throughout the game was impressive. I am really proud of how much they have improved.
  • A special shout out to our train on Sophia who played her first WABL game this week, despite being a triple bottle ager she got herself involved in the game a lot and her confidence throughout was incredible.

12-1 Boys – Wayne Dropulich (sponsored by SLS Advisory)

Lost against Suns 83-51

Coach comments

  • This was a tough game against a very talented Eastern Suns team that came out with great energy and shot the ball extremely well from the start.
  • We struggled early to contain their better players, who consistently put pressure on us offensively, but I was proud that our group kept competing and never stopped working despite the scoreboard.
  • There were still plenty of positives throughout the game. Cayden Wedge led us offensively again, attacking hard and finding ways to score both inside and at the free throw line, while Hudson McClintock continued to battle and finish around the basket.
  • Alex Litas brought strong energy defensively and attacked with confidence, while Baxter Miles gave us a spark late with his work around the rim and strong finishing.
  • Gus Rafferty also provided a physical presence and competed hard on both ends of the floor.
  • The biggest lesson from this game was our need to stay disciplined defensively for four quarters and limit second-chance opportunities and fouls. Even when the game got away from us, the boys continued to support each other and play hard until the final buzzer, which is something we will continue to build on as a team.
  • Gus Rafferty produced a fantastic all-round performance, contributing 9 points while making a major impact defensively with 5 deflections and 3 steals through his hustle and anticipation. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and brought great energy on both ends of the floor, competing hard in every possession and giving the team a real lift throughout the game.
  • Baxter Miles was a strong presence around the basket, finishing with 9 points on 50% shooting while continuing to provide reliable scoring inside. His biggest impact came on the boards, where he pulled down 12 rebounds through relentless effort and positioning, giving the team valuable extra possessions and defensive stops throughout the game.

12-2 Boys – Adam Gunnis (sponsored by KPS BUILDING GROUP and PlanWA)

Lost against Hills 41-61

12-3 Boys – Mason Wigmore (sponsored by Victory Technologies Pty Ltd and Stanley Ag WA)

Won against Wolves 79-43

12-4 Boys – Charlize Nicolaou (sponsored by Float Docks)

Lost against Suns 48-45

Coach comments

  • It was a hard game for everyone (players, us coaches and parents/spectators).
  • From the first whistle it was a challenge, but the boys gave maximum effort every second.
  • The game provided important lessons for us as a group. We’ll take those learnings on board and use them to improve and come back stronger next time we face this team.
  • Henry was the backbone of this game, rebounding every goal that came across his way and holding his ground, making sure that the Suns couldn’t push him around.
  • Joey was a sneaky ninja, creating turnovers almost unnoticed. He also added valuable goals and contributed strongly with assists.

12-5 Boys – Craig Dropulich (sponsored by Ganjing World)

Lost against Suns 34-98

Coach comments

  • A really tough game this week where we struggled at times to move the ball effectively.
  • A highlight was a strong 3rd quarter and finishing with 34 points in that period overall.
  • We didn’t apply enough pressure on defence, especially on drives to the basket, which allowed them to shoot at a high percentage. This made it a challenging and long day on the court.
  • Effort was there from everyone, and most of our system was executed well. However, a bit more consistent defensive pressure was needed to match our intent and fight.
  • On to next week, we’ll keep building, with our development tracking in a positive direction.
  • Lennox Baljic had a good game and controlled the ball very well with all the extra pressure. He had 4 or 5 steals and 10 points and ran hard to help get back every time on defence. His passing ahead using his vision is fantastic too.
  • Tommy Price showed he is not afraid of any opponent, running rings around them on multiple occasions and scoring 10 points doing this. Tommy is starting to use his voice on court and help direct others to better positions.

14-1 Girls – Rori Roberts (sponsored by National Geotech)

Won against East Perth 73-29

Coach comments

  • Coming off a close loss last week, the girls regrouped and got a big 44 point win.
  • We controlled the game from the start to finish and it was good to see everyone hit the score board and play their role.
  • Lily Butler played aggressive both offensively and defensively she recorded 7 deflections 5 steals and 13 points.
  • Rose Bacci found her groove offensively scoring a team high 16 points.
  • Josie Smith had another outstanding rebounding game grabbing 12 rebounds.

14-2 Girls – Whitney Perret (sponsored by Accelerate Blue)

Lost against Raiders 51-38

Coach comments

  • We started off very slow and lacked energy for the first half.
  • We managed to challenge the Raiders when we made better passing decisions.
  • We struggled to convert many fast-break opportunities, however we showed great fight to claw back and stay competitive until the end.
  • Jade was strong attacking the basket in offence and was also very solid defensively, both on the ball and in the full court.
  • Zoe did a great job pushing the ball up the floor and took a couple big hits, but showed great toughness to keep playing.
  • Anya was strong defensively, applying pressure and consistently forcing players toward the sideline and baseline.
  • Elly was very strong and used her body well on the drive, drawing multiple fouls and earning valuable trips to the line.

14-3 Girls – Matt Bailey (sponsored by Crothers Pty Ltd)

Won against 70-40

Coach comments

  • It was a fun opportunity for the girls to match up against Perth Lynx head coach Ryan Petrik, who was on the bench for the Flames due to their regular head coach being unavailable.
  • We got off to a good start and had the game well in hand by quarter time.
  • Mina Bajin was a late addition to the starting lineup just before tip-off and seized the opportunity with both hands. The most consistent execution of our offensive rebounding rules I’ve seen from any of the girls this season.
  • Sophie Nichols’s off-ball defense has been excellent.

14-4 Girls – Bryn Arnold (sponsored by Mount Hawthorn Clinical Psychology)

Lost against Senators 71-20

14-1 Boys – Dave Ogden (sponsored by Global Cabling)

Won against Mandurah 59-33

Coach comments

  • The boys played some really good basketball and kept Mandurah to 33 which was an elite defensive effort from the team.
  • In an area that has challenged us previously, we also won the rebound count against a bigger opponent, which is a great sign for us going forward.
  • Noah M is coming back after injury and is quickly getting up to speed, leading the team in assists while providing strong effort across the full court.
  • Maz T finished with a game-high plus/minus and showed great adaptability, adjusting to a different role mid-game and using his athleticism to impact both ends of the floor.
  • Eli D had a tough day at the office getting knocked and bruised on multiple occasions and showed resilience to keep going and will be better for the experience.

14-2 Boys – Craig Dropulich (sponsored by M & T Gomm Pty Ltd ATF Gomm Family Trust T/As Customised Metal Works)

Won against Lakeside 62-44

Coach comments

  • This week we played a lot more like the way we want to play. We listened to instructions well and created the pressure that makes it very hard to score against us.
  • There are still a couple of areas we need to keep working on, but overall it was really pleasing to see how we performed as a team.
  • Good minutes for all the boys, and this should be the standard we aim to build on each week as we keep improving.
  • Elijah Mancini had his best game for us. His finishing under pressure was outstanding, and he contributed 15 points, playing a big role in our strong performance.
  • Julian Morris played really well, consistently following up around the basket to finish with 17 points. He also used his size effectively on defence, which really intimidated Lakeside, and finished with 15 rebounds 7 offensive.

14-3 Boys – Dom Pitchen (sponsored by Candy Verse)

Lost against Hawks 61-52

Coach comments

  • The game was highly competitive, and the boys showed noticeable improvement in their defensive communication, which helped strengthen their help defence, rotations, and switches throughout the game.
  • Offensively, the team is beginning to move into space much more effectively, creating quality scoring opportunities for themselves and allowing the offence to flow smoothly.
  • Their willingness to work together, make the extra pass, and maintain good spacing contributed to a much more connected performance on both ends of the court.
  • Zac Nguyen was a strong rebounding and defensive presence throughout the game, using his body well to secure stops and contest possessions effectively. On the offensive end, he ran the lanes hard in transition, creating easy scoring opportunities for himself and helping draw defenders away to open up space for his teammates.
  • Elliot Greason did a great job moving his feet defensively and applying consistent pressure to his assigned player throughout the game. He spaced the floor well and pushed the pace effectively when handling the ball, which helped create opportunities for his teammates in transition and within the offence.

14-4 Boys – Caitlin Rawes (sponsored by Crothers Pty Ltd)

Lost against Hills 52-64

Coach comments

  • The boys did well in a physical game and showed plenty of effort throughout. The main takeaway is learning to sustain that intensity across all four quarters rather than in patches.
  • To only lose by a little is great for them considering the placement of the other team.
  • Tommy continues to prove he is a dominant presence on the court.
  • Miles S. was a real force offensively and one of the strongest players on the floor.

16-1 Girls – Nigel Esau (sponsored by Xceed Real Estate)

Won against East Perth 61-48

Coach comments

  • A game of ebbs and flows, the girls did well to get the lead and hold onto it for the game.
  • The girls expressed themselves well on the offensive end and played hard defensively.
  • A true team win, with everyone’s effort contributing to getting us across the line.
  • Standouts in the win were Sienna, Hayley, and Ella.
  • Again, everyone played their roles well in securing the result.

16-2 Girls – Reid Ballantine (sponsored by Access Hire)

Lost against Lakeside 42-46

Coach comments

  • This was a proper game against the top team. While our shots didn’t drop, a defensive adjustment in Q4 held them scoreless for 9 minutes and 58 seconds as we chipped away at the lead.
  • They only scored late from the free-throw line in the final seconds, but we’ve now identified a defensive setup to use next time.
  • We created enough possession and earned strong offensive rebounds to win the game. While our shot selection was often rushed, the opportunities we generated show what we’re capable of. The skill is there, and as we steady ourselves, the results will follow.
  • I loved what Olivia Birsa gave us a great start to the game with strong, hard running in transition both ways. She was everywhere early, finishing with 9 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Anabella Lewis was fast on her feet all game and super noticeable as a predator in Q4 hunting 6 steals.
  • Georgie Clarke was heavily involved throughout and made a big impact defensively with 9 steals.

16-3 Girls – Geoff Alger (sponsored by Habitat Finance)

Won against Slammers 64-58

Coach comments

  • Our 4th win from 5 games is a strong achievement, especially with every game being tight deep into the last quarter.
  • We continue to play excellent team basketball, with strong improvements in our offensive composure and decision-making, leading to better scoring efficiency.
  • This week we showed good application of our defensive rules for the most part, limiting one of the league’s better scorers to just 3 points.
  • To Slammers credit they did a great job of finding the spare player and scoring whenever we overcommitted defensively.
  • The players’ ability to handle the end game pressure and close out the game was really pleasing.
  • Nora Ostermeyer competed strongly, securing 12 rebounds and deflecting many more against bigger opponents. She was also excellent defensively with 6 deflections, 3 steals, and a block, alongside 12 points at nearly 50% shooting, leaving a strong imprint on the game.
  • Freya Whitehouse continues to be a consistent impact player, with her defence and playmaking once again important. It was great to see her rewarded for her work on the scoreboard with 19 points at 78% shooting.
  • Eloise Clince was impactful at both ends of the floor as we welcomed her back from illness.
  • Audrey Toussaint continues to do all the hard work and make the smart plays that help the team win. Strong and reliable handling the ball, she consistently made great passes to facilitate offense and ran hard to support team mates in both offense and defense.

16-4 Girls – Ashley Brian (sponsored by Realth Property Group)

Won against Binar 62-50

Coach comments

  • This was a great example of how system-style basketball can beat pure skill and athleticism.
  • In a game where previous round scores suggested we would lose, the girls were incredibly disciplined with our game plan and it forced a huge number of turnovers.
  • I couldn’t be happier with our start to the season. Everyone is contributing on both the court and the scoreboard every single game.
  • We’re sitting on the ladder in a position that no-one expected us to be in, and best of all, the girls genuinely seem to be loving their basketball.
  • Bella Tolly was incredibly efficient with her 10 points, plus she had 3 deflections and 6 steals, but her most impressive numbers were her 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
  • Zoraya Laurenson joined our team just days before the season started and has done a fantastic job learning our system while contributing from Round 1. This week she was rewarded with a season-high 7 points, along with 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 deflections and 4 steals.
  • One thing that really stood out this week was our guard rebounding. Bella (10), Lily (9), Allegra (8), Bianca (8) and Darcy (7) were all outstanding, crashing the glass. Rebounding effort and physicality from our guards is a massive part of the way we want to play and it’s great to see the girls buying into that role.

16-1 Boys – Cameron Redhead (sponsored by Geist Consulting)

Won against East Perth 99-98

Coach comments

  • A thrilling one point win for our group this week!
  • A back and forth game saw the lead change multiple times. After an intense battle, our boys came out firing in the 4th, expanding the lead out to 14, but East Perth just wouldn’t go away.
  • They made a run to close the gap, but some great free throw shooting down the stretch and some big rebounds steadied the ship and the boys held on for a thrilling victory!
  • Congratulations to Sebastian Doyle and Zeke Brian on a fabulous 100 WABL games. Your efforts this week were reflective of your efforts and dedication across all of your 100 WABL games. Congratulations again!

16-2 Boys – Francis Crawshaw (sponsored by F45 Victoria Park)

Won against Eagles 93-83

16-3 Boys –Vance Karimi (sponsored by School Bus Logistics Pty Ltd)

Won against Cougars 54-49

Coach comments

  • We started somewhat anxious in the first and felt strongly pressured under mid and half court defence. The boys adjusted mentally and physically at the start of second, reading and moving quickly in defence to square up, keeping hands out to avoid silly fouls and picked up their intensity all over the court throughout the rest of the game.
  • We chased players when beat, ran back in transition, scrambled to contest everything at every opportunity and worked hard to get positional advantage on free throws to get second and third opportunities. Defence won us the game this week.
  • Leo stepped up to cover the ball in D, waiting for his team mate to recover before dropping to get his regular matchup. He pushed hard to get second opportunities on free throws.
  • Caelan was strong, pulling down defensive rebounds and making quick outlets. Great running ahead in transition O with great spacing.
  • Mitch contested all over the court, blocking shots, reading passes, chasing back, jumping on loose balls and aggressively contesting in D to force a charge.
  • Tom read passes in D, causing turnovers and pushing our transition with great kick aheads. He’s always there to protect the paint and be there in help early to contest shots.
  • Kai was on form with his outside shots, making good shot decisions and hustled all over the court to pickup loose balls. He fed the ball up the court in transition O to give us good advantages.
  • Jo levelled up with his focus and intensity in D at the top, in the mid and half court, getting a touch to cause several turnovers. When he found himself beyond the baseline, he immediately jumped back into transition D without hesitation. He chased his player fighting screens to keep a tight D.
  • Aiden played a hard D in the back-line in our half court to force turnovers. When his player picked up his dribble, Aiden pressed up hard and forced a 5 sec hold which resulted in a turnover.
  • Kruz is intense with his footwork and body work in transition D to stop the first 3 dribbles and force turnovers. He’s all over the primary ball guard, forcing turnovers.
  • Warein takes the right risks in D to contest passes and the no fear to block shots and go all-in. He is a strong body and fast footwork was great in D and in transition O.
  • Eoin always stays low in D and gets big by keeping his hands up. Really like how he communicates with other ball guards to quickly decide who’s got first receive. He reads the rebounds well.

16-4 Boys – Oliver March (sponsored by Rangecon)

Won against Hawks 67-72

18-1 Girls – Shaun Bennison (sponsored by Strike Drilling)

Won against East Perth 94-70

Coach comments

  • The instruction was to start strong, and the girls responded well and didn’t look back.
  • Energy was high, the team played together, forced turnovers, and capitalised in offence.
  • Execution improved, and we started to find great inside looks for our bigs.
  • Gabby continues to impress, finishing with a 30-point game. She is stretching the floor confidently, knocking down threes, running the lanes well, and being rewarded for her work.
  • Kaia was impressive with the ball in hand finding players under the basket with some sneaky passes, she is silky smooth and calm about her game.
  • Darcie played with great aggression and confidence, hitting three-point shots from the nail and rebounding strongly. Her rebounding was so effective that a missed free throw turned into the quickest put back 2 points for the other team. It was a laughable moment and she also found the funny side, which brought the team together even more somehow.

18-2 Girls – Simon Daff (sponsored by West Coast Reinforcing)

Won against Lakeside 50-49

Coach comments

  • In what was a scrappy nailbiter away from home we managed to scrape through with a win.
  • We had numerous double digit leads but allowed them back into the game. With 2 minutes to go we held our nerve.
  • Arabella Kahl was a presence inside; she rebounded well and was rewarded for the effort with 18 points to lead all scorers.
  • Cara Hayes had a great first half. When we struggled for momentum she easily stepped up and created opportunities time and again. She never got rattled even when we lost momentum.
  • Captain Alice Lawrence bounced back into form with a strong second half. When the game was on the line, she stepped up and hit a tough jump shot to give us the lead back.

18-3 Girls – Marcia Dowling (sponsored by PWS Group and John Hughes Ford)

Won against Suns 50-45

Coach comments

  • The team started with passion, determination and focus.
  • Within 90 seconds, the Suns called a timeout after being held scoreless. Our first quarter was the best team performance we’ve produced so far. Against a strong, physical, and skilled opponent, the girls stayed committed to our style of play, including highly effective defensive strategies.
  • The Suns lifted their intensity in the third quarter and brought the game back to level, but the Redbacks responded with strong teamwork and effort to regain the lead. From there, we maintained a high level of play to close out a strong performance.
  • Nadia Slee was highly effective at both ends of the floor, with her defensive presence particularly strong and disruptive in transition.
  • Paige Wigmore and Macaela Tugwell worked harder than ever in rebounding and created great turnover opportunities.
  • Ellie Pike from U16-1 joined us to help out as we’ve been playing with seven players. She made a strong contribution and blended beautifully into our supportive team.

18-4 Girls – Mark Wigmore (sponsored by PWS Group and John Hughes Ford)

Lost against East Perth 86-46

Coach comments

  • The team struggled to find any rhythm in the first half letting the opposition get open shots and offensive rebounds far too easily.
  • The second half (third quarter in particular) was a different story with our team playing really physical and forcing East Perth into turnovers, unfortunately it was difficult to recover from East Perth’s strong first-half
  • Chelsea Ferris ran hard all day long and continues to set the standard for consistent effort on defence for this team.
  • Alysha Robinson had an excellent third quarter playing with physicality and purpose. Attacking the rim with the ball on offense as well as absorbing contact in defense to force bad shots.

18-2 Boys – Dan Cartwright (sponsored by Aviso WA Insurance Brokers and Signifi Media Pty Ltd)

18-3 Boys – Helen Pardini (sponsored by OCR Projects)

Won against Binar 66-75

18-4 Boys – Jess Tiwade (sponsored by Retriever Sound Events Dj.)

Lost against Slammers 80-81

Coach comments

  • What a game! Heading into playing the unbeaten team, we were determined to build on previous week’s learnings and fight for a win.
  • We started the first quarter a bit flat and weren’t giving enough. We regrouped before the second quarter, recognising we’d let it slip in the last few minutes and needed to fight every quarter. The bench energy lifted us going into the second.
  • We had a strong quarter, improving our rebounding and offence, while holding the division’s top scorer to just 4 points. With a focus on offensive composure and defensive effort, we worked hard through the third quarter and won it.
  • The 4th was incredible, every moment on defence was intense and Slammers were rattled. Winning the last quarter 28 v 18 saw us up in the last few minutes.
  • Unfortunately, a late turnover led to a 2-point score for Slammers, and they went on to win by 1 point.
  • Tyson and Daniel worked as a team throughout the game, taking on the challenge of guarding Slammers’ top scorer. Their defensive effort was impressive and they also provided strong support on the boards.
  • Macen’s strength under the rim both offensive and defensive was fantastic. Great to see his support on defence.
  • Kobe Peppin had a fantastic game leading the charge in scoring. Encouraging him in 2nd qtr to just find his 3pt shot and go for it, putting down 3 three in Qtr 2!

21 Girls – Shaun Bennison (sponsored by Freeman Chiropractic)

Lost against Warwick 83-61

Coach comments

  • The girls started slowly and took some time to find their rhythm.
  • Against a 3-2 zone all game, we were able to find open shooters but couldn’t consistently convert.
  • Our inside game was effective at times, with good cutting and spot-up opportunities.
  • We didn’t fully execute key instructions, with missed details leading to turnovers instead of shot attempts.
  • Overall, there were positive signs and a clear understanding of what we need to continue working on.
  • Dakota played strongly today, attacking the rim with aggression and showing confidence in her pull-up jump shot.
  • Hannah and Olivia showed they can dominate the glass and be a threat in offence.
  • Overall the team showed great signs of spacing and improved willingness to take open shots.

20-1 Boys – John Foley (sponsored by Bodytune Massage and Sports Therapies)

Won against Binar 78-74

Coach comments

  • We started the game a little slow out of the gate and struggled at times to make the right decisions, which led to some poor passing. This allowed Binar to take the lead into half time.
  • At the break, I challenged the boys to lift their energy and intensity, and they responded brilliantly.
  • We came out strong in the third quarter, winning it 30-15 and completely shifting the momentum of the game. From there, we maintained our lead and finished the game with a solid win.
  • Mikka Kelly had a solid game with 15 points and 3 rebounds.
  • Zayde Parriman finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals.
  • Cale buzzard finished with 10 points 9 rebounds and 2 assists.

20-2  Boys – Ofir Ben Dror (sponsored by Meyer Shircore Architects)

Won against East Perth 99-87

Coach comments

  • In a close and fiery game, the boys showed spirit and determination.
  • Once we took the lead, we stayed in front for the rest of the game but not without a couple of fightbacks from the Eagles.
  • An incredible team effort that showed once again that every player on our team that comes off the bench, makes the team stronger rather than weaker. Good job boys!
  • James Reid had a great game on both ends of the floor with a relentless and aggressive display that was so contagious, the whole team followed.
  • Noah Baker was influential from the moment he came off the bench with a physical present in the paint (despite a size disadvantage) and running the floor hard.
  • Jack Shepherd came off the bench to try and stop the big men from the opposition team that were using their bodies well to score against us.
  • We completely owned the paint and made them take difficult shots that didn’t drop. It made a huge difference to the end result.
