We were thrilled when Venue Manager Adrian Young reached out this year to see if there would be an opportunity for sponsorship. With a shared passion for basketball, community and family he thought the Perth Redbacks and the Vic Park Hotel would be a perfect fit.
And he was right!
Standing proud since 1927 and one of Perth’s best-kept secrets, the Victoria Park Hotel is situated in the heart of Vic Park on Albany Highway. With a blend of modern and heritage architecture, the Vic Park Hotel has a naturally warm and cosy feel to it. Not only is the venue very easy to find, they also have plenty of parking at the rear of the Hotel for your convenience.
Adrian and his team are hoping their sponsorship can make a significant difference to the club whether it be uniforms, equipment or human resources. But mostly, they’re hoping to add a sense of partnership rather than sponsorship.
They’re a fantastic venue (as already shown from our well-attended SBL launch and numerous board meetings) and we’re hoping the members of our Redbacks family take the opportunity to show the Vic Park Hotel their support at a time where things are going to get very tight in the hospitality industry.
