The WA State Government has announced Phase 3 of their Roadmap will activate on 6 June which means we can now announce a start date for our Winter Domestic Competition: Saturday 20 June.
To facilitate this, registrations will close this Friday 5 June.

How do I register?
If you are with one of our Domestic clubs (North Perth, Mt Hawthorn, Leederville, Booridya Moort, Manning Magic, South Perth, Hoopers) please await an email from them as each club has a specific link to register through.
If you are the manager of a non-club/independent team, use this link.
If you are an individual player looking for a team, please register yourself by emailing Michelle: admin@perthredbacks.asn.au.
What will fees be?
The fee structure for the season will be:
- PBA Registration – $60.00
- Season Game Fees (paid upfront) – $120.00
- Note: The $30 annual BWA affiliation levy may also be payable if it becomes due for the registered player.
What if I can’t afford to pay the season game fees upfront or am applying for Kidsport for part of my fees?
We continue to have a payment plan process in place to offer flexibility to our families. If this applies to you, please email Michelle at admin@perthredbacks.asn.au for information.
How do I know what age group I should be playing in?
Our competition age group brackets are as follows:
- Under 10’s Born in 2011/2012
- Under 12’s Born in 2009/2010
- Under 14’s Born in 2007/2008
- Under 16’s Born in 2005/2006
- Under 18’s Born in 2003/2004
- Leavers Born in 2000/2001/2002
How long will the Winter Domestic competition run for?
The Winter Domestic Season will be a 14-week competition without a finals series. (The team at the top of the ladder for each grade will be named season champions. Please also note, the competition will run through the July school holidays.)
Will spectators be allowed courtside to watch games?
At competition start, we will be operating under the restrictions outlined in the BWA Return to Play Roadmap Orange 24.
These do not allow for spectators. We will have protocols in place to ensure young players, in particular, can meet their coaches outside the court and move into the playing arena in a supervised way.
As the competition progresses, and restrictions ease further, we expect we will be able to allow spectators in. But this will be dependent on State and local government authorisation.
What are you doing to ensure the safety of all involved?
Domestic games will commence under the restrictions outlined in the BWA Return to Play Roadmap Orange 24.
